The VOLUME CONTROL only affects the volume of your voice and not the volume of the siren or the volume of the music if you use the 3.5mm jack. The handle is slanted slightly to far forward making it feel a little awkward to hold. I wish the siren had its own switch so I didn't accidentally turn it on every time I try to turn the megaphone off. But other than that, it is a pretty nice megaphone.
